As a Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll play a critical role at the center of engineering, manufacturing, launch, suppliers, and customer teams. You will lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, drive problem‑solving initiatives, support manufacturing excellence, and ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead all customer‑specific APQP activities throughout product launch and production readiness
• Partner closely with Launch, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier teams to ensure successful program execution and flawless launches
• Drive quality planning activities including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP submissions, PSO readiness, and corrective action implementation
• Proactively identify risks, resolve critical issues, and ensure launch deliverables are completed on time
• Serve as a key quality leader supporting customers, suppliers, manufacturing operations, and internal cross‑functional teams
• Lead structured problem‑solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools
• Maintain APQP documentation and support customer‑required reporting and submissions
• Manage gaging requirements, fixture development, and Gage R&R validation activities
• Support certification audits and promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality performance, reduce customer complaints, and strengthen manufacturing processes
• Support customer notifications and quality communications in accordance with customer‑specific requirements (CSR)
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations
• Provide support across multiple shifts as needed to ensure operational and launch success

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
• 5+ years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment; automotive experience strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of automotive quality core tools including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, PSO, SPC, and MSA
• Experience leading customer launch and quality activities in automotive manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and technical documentation
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills
