Salary Range: $110,000 - $159,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Holland seeking Engineering Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring project success.
• Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for production challenges and efficiency improvements.
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and documentation for the manufacturing environment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities and product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality systems (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and their application in manufacturing.
• Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding, welding).
