Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company, is seeking a Controls Engineer I/II to join their team. As a Controls Engineer I/II
, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Manufacturing, Production, and Continuous Improvement Teams

Job Title: Controls Engineer I/II
Location: Holland, MI
Pay Range: $37 - $70 (Depending on years of experience)

What's the Job?
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing, engineering, and set-up personnel throughout all phases of production.
  • Troubleshoot, implement, and maintain PLC, robotics, vision, and servo control systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, downtime reduction, scrap reduction, and efficiency improvements.
  • Perform process verification and support quality, ISO, and IATF compliance activities.
  • Train and mentor production and technical staff while supporting equipment and process optimization.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field; or equivalent controls troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and servo controls.
  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Denso, Cognex, Keyence, Beckhoff, Wago, or similar automation platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting, project management, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work independently or within cross-functional teams.
