PE Project Management

Project Manager for fulfillment work related to the production of machines, tools, products and other equipment related to Buhler Prince's product portfolio, with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. These projects can be large in scope and frequently involve complex engineering problems. The Project Manager is the leader in the fulfillment of the project. This role primarily focuses on smaller new equipment projects & retrofits for the existing installed base across North America.

• Manage customer projects from quotation and purchase order through final acceptance, ensuring successful execution and achievement of cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to support efficient project delivery and effective collaboration.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, proactively managing project risks, opportunities, deviations, change orders, and claims to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Conduct project reviews, oversee project documentation and handoffs, and ensure site personnel receive the information and resources needed for safe and effective project execution.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement initiatives while supporting operational excellence within the Project Management and Quotation teams; travel domestically and internationally as required to support project activities.

• 4-year Engineering degree or other equivalent training or experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working in a team environment
• Experience managing work groups without having direct authority
• Ability to manage customer relationships
• Sound judgement and decision-making skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Highly developed computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite

• Understanding of die casting machinery specifications, automation, and die casting processes.
• 3+ years of professional project management experience
• Experience working in an international matrix organizatio
• German language skills a plus.
