Vice President Finance

Our client, a privately held manufacturing company, is seeking a VP of Finance to lead all financial operations and serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO. This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring a hands‑on finance executive who can manage day‑to‑day accounting functions while driving long‑term strategy, growth initiatives, and financial infrastructure development.

• Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Maintain GAAP compliance, strong internal controls, and board‑level reporting
• Lead general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory management
• Own the monthly close process, including reconciliations and commission calculations
• Lead year‑end close and coordinate external audit and tax processes
• Oversee compliance filings (1099s, state reporting) and insurance renewals
• Partner with executive leadership on operational decisions, KPI development, margin analysis, and capital allocation
• Support growth initiatives, including acquisition analysis and expansion planning
• Oversee international/multi‑entity financial reporting, banking relationships, and 3PL coordination
• Build financial infrastructure to support scaling operations

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of related finance and accounting leadership experience
• Manufacturing experience required
• Strong cost accounting and inventory accounting background
• Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on
• Experience preparing financial statements and managing full close process

Preferred:

• CPA or MBA
• Experience in small to mid‑sized companies
• ERP experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with multi‑entity or international operations

$125,000 – $135,000 base salary + bonus + equity
