Job Responsibilities
The IT Student Intern will assist the IT team in maintaining and supporting computer systems, networks, and software applications. They will help troubleshoot technical issues, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to IT projects. This role provides hands‑on experience with hardware, software, cybersecurity, and system administration, fostering foundational skills in information technology and supporting the organization’s technology needs.
Requirements- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exposure to programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or scripting) is a plus.
- Prior internship or project experience in IT.
- Familiarity with helpdesk support or system administration tasks.
