Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 support for MES/MoM systems (e.g., Proficy, Ignition, or custom MES platforms).
Provide support for plant operations to ensure correct IT/OT requirements are gathered and hand over responsible stakeholders for implementation.
- Monitor and resolve production issues related to production orders, WIP tracking, and traceability.
- Quality data collection and defect tracking.
- Gather MES, quality, and SPC requirements.
Troubleshoot issues related to:
- Machine connectivity (OPC UA, MQTT, vendor protocols).
- Data gaps, latency, or incorrect production signals.
Act as a liaison between plant engineering/control teams and central IT (infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, MES teams).
Support- OT network connectivity and segmentation.
- Secure vendor remote access and compliance requirements.
- Support SMT line commissioning and MES rollout activities.
- System setup, configuration, and testing.
