Overview of the Position:
The Power BI Analyst serves as a key partner between Finance, Operations, and IT, transforming complex business data into meaningful insights through reporting, dashboards, and process automation.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Extract, transform, and analyze ERP data for budget and spend visibility.
- Create reporting solutions that track spending against approved commitments.
- Partner with Finance and Operations to improve reporting accuracy.
- Enhance and support existing Power BI reports.
- Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models.
- Automate manual reporting processes.
- Analyze labor and payroll data and workforce metrics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements.
Translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
- At least 2 years of BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst experience.
- Advanced Power BI expertise.
- Strong SQL experience.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Requirements gathering experience.
- Financial reporting experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Process automation experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Microsoft data platform experience.
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- Experience with QAD ERP.
- Finance/accounting reporting background.
- Dayforce or workforce management systems experience.
- Operational and manufacturing dashboard experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
