The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception to trial and appeal. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and case analysis.
- Manage case files, documents, and physical evidence.
- Coordinate discovery, including drafting responses, organizing document production, and preparing for depositions.
- Assist in trial preparation, including witness coordination and exhibit management.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling and client communication.
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and court procedures.
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in a law firm.
- Strong legal research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal software and document management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
