Shift & ScheduleThis is a full‑time position on the 1st shift, Monday - Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.
Position TitleTransportation Specialist – Holland, MI
Responsibilities- Accountable to manage Michigan DSD branches demand for product by running truck builds, printing daily pick tickets and managing timely processing of STOs from shipment to receipt.
- Track all loads shipping on SPLK and common carriers.
- Track on‑time processes to manage efficiencies, communicate root‑cause analysis when below target, and participate in efficiencies review & development.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with supplying plants to facilitate in‑stock status and timely receipts.
- Assist branches with follow‑up or general delivery inquiries.
- Work closely with warehouse staff & inventory personnel.
- Align all activity to audit guidelines ensuring SOX compliance relative to shipping.
- When necessary, cross‑train and participate in other aspects of the business.
- Assist with new approaches/procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiencies & effectiveness of the department.
- Maintain all transport driver records to ensure DOT compliance.
- Assist with driver safety training.
- Order supplies as needed.
- Pay Range: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour
- Benefits eligible day one.

- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
- 2+ years’ experience in transportation.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Excel & Outlook.
- Must be detail‑oriented, self‑motivated & able to multi‑task.
- Experience in SAP and Mastery Dispatch preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Occasionally may lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
