This is a full-time, salary position based onsite in Holland, MI.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead complex, strategic projects within JR Automation. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline objectives while upholding Hitachi's high standards of quality and innovation.

How You'll Make an Impact:

* Lead and manage all phases of complex projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling.

* Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and executive leadership.

* Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures, resource allocation, risk management strategies, and communication plans.

* Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.

* Oversee project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating as necessary.

* Communicate project status, progress, and challenges regularly to stakeholders, including executive leadership, clients, and team members.

* Ensure adherence to JR"s project management methodologies, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

* Negotiate with vendors and manage external relationships as required for project success.

* Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices

What You'll Bring:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

* 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead project management role.

* Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget.

* Strong understanding and practical experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum). PMP or equivalent certification is highly preferred.

* Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.

* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and collaboration tools.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

* Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is highly desirable.

* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operate effectively in ambiguous situations.
