The programEdTech stands for Educational Technology: the use of technology to make education better, more engaging, more personal, and more effective. At Talland, EdTech is now being used more broadly than just ICT or digital learning tools. It involves educational innovation where new technology is used to enable other forms of learning and guidance. This aligns with Talland’s educational vision, which states that we use our educational technology to enhance learning outcomes and that our education aligns with current developments such as AI.
The program lasts 4 years.
You become part of the EdTech program team, the beating heart of the program. This team, in addition to the program manager, consists of experts from various areas of focus, such as educational innovation, quality assurance, and assessment. This team is supported by advisors from the central support services, such as Marketing & Communications, P&O, and Finance.
The functionAs a PMO, you are a very important player within the organization. You are the right-hand man of the program manager. You ensure that he or she can focus on the strategic aspects of the program. You do this by ensuring that the operational and administrative processes run smoothly. The tasks are:
- managing the schedules of the program manager and project managers;
- Support the development and monitoring of the project plan. This means not only keeping track of milestones and monitoring deadlines, but also identifying bottlenecks and bringing them to the attention of the project team. program manager, to then to contribute to the development of appropriate solutions;
- preparations for meetings. This involves planning meetings, preparing agendas, and drafting the meetings. And (proactively) monitoring the actions that result from these;
- preparing a periodic progress report to inform the programme manager and other stakeholders about the status of the programme;
- act as a point of contact and a contact person for internal and external stakeholders and ensure effective communication between the various parties involved;
- help identify and document project risks and issues and support the program manager in devising how to deal with them;
- managing project files and administration.
Your profile
At the start, you do not need to have any knowledge of the mbo, but you must be willing to deepen your knowledge in this area. This is essential for the proper performance of this function. It goes without saying that you are strong in planning and organization and that you possess good communication skills. Knowledge of the English language is preferred in connection with international contacts within the program.
In this role, it is very important that you can work independently and demonstrate initiative, so that the program runs smoothly organizationally and administratively and any bottlenecks are resolved in collaboration with the program manager.
It is an advantage if you are familiar with current developments in the IT field. Furthermore, it is preferred that you have experience with the application of AI within your own work. Last but not least, it is essential that you can switch between different tasks that come your way…
