Overview

SummaryThis position will engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modification. May also be involved with basic mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified.
Responsibilities- Perform responsibilities of conducting corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery
- Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas
- Prepare and manages periodic preventative maintenance schedule
- Technician is responsible for keeping the records of all preventative maintenance and troubleshooting works
- Coordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issues
- Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
- Prepare and maintain maintenance related documents of daily report and check sheets
- Mentor and train new maintenance technicians
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
- Journeyman’s certificate or equivalent preferred
- 7+ years of experience or equivalent relevant experience required
- PLC experience preferred
- Understanding of production and processing equipment
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Planning and organizational skills
- Effective and efficient time management
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative, innovative, and solutions-oriented
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Technically proficient and motivated to continuously improve
