OverviewSeeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing systems and machining requirements within a highly customized equipment environment. Sitting at the intersection of engineering, procurement, and production, this position is responsible for identifying the most effective processes for new and existing products while translating engineering designs into scalable, efficient manufacturing solutions.
The role partners closely with quality to ensure product and process standards are met and play a key part in driving operational efficiency, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. It offers high autonomy and requires a hands-on, collaborative approach to solving complex manufacturing challenges.
Must Have- 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in machining or custom equipment environments
- Solid Works proficiency with machine design experience
- ERP experience (Syteline preferred), including troubleshooting legacy data issues
- Experience interfacing between Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing
- Ability to translate engineering requirements into manufacturable outputs and procurement-ready specifications
- Hands-on involvement with shop floor operations, including fixture design, customization, and builds
- Background in machining, custom automation, or fabrication environments
- Experience creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and product designs to ensure manufacturability and optimize efficiency for new and existing products
- Serve as a liaison between Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing to align design intent with production and sourcing requirements
- Collaborate with engineering teams using Solid Works to review design form, fit, and function, and drive cost-effective improvements
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, tooling requirements, and process workflows to support production readiness
- Lead process improvement initiatives, including testing, analysis, and troubleshooting across assemblies, prototypes, ERP data, and quality-related issues
