Toolroom Machinist

Our client, a precision manufacturing company, is seeking a Tool Room Machinist to join their team. As a Tool Room Machinist, you will be part of the Tool Room Department supporting Manufacturing and Production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $21 - $31/hr plus 15% shift differential

** What's the Job?*
* + Operate specialized machine tools to manufacture and repair tooling, fixtures, and components used in production.

+ Verify tooling dimensions and quality using precision measuring instruments, comparators, blueprints, and GD&T standards.

+ Produce tooling and fixtures efficiently while maintaining strict safety and quality requirements.

+ Support manufacturing operations by ensuring tooling is built to specification and ready for production use.

+ Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process enhancements and cost-saving opportunities.

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma or GED preferred.

+ Certification or demonstrated proficiency operating specialized machine tool equipment.

+ Minimum of 4 years of machine tool or machining experience.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T, and use precision measurement tools and hand gages.

+ Strong dependability, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality.
