Panel Finisher​/General Laborer Porter Corp

Responsibilities

• Fabrication of SIPs utilizing various hand tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Maintain quality standards
• Problem solving in tough situations
• Operate Hi-lo and overhead cranes
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic construction skills
• Able to read blue prints
• Able to read measurement tools
• Wood working/carpentry experience

This position requires minimal to no travel

• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems

• Basic computer and math skills
• Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Skilled in using power and hand tools
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills
• Able to stand, reach outward and above, bending frequently and walking
• Reliable attendance
• Effective communication with fellow team members
• Ability to adhere to and maintain quality standards

• Timeliness of work completion
• Compliance and execution with company policies
• Limit lost time
• Reduction in Lead time to the customer from order to delivery
• Adhere to and enforce all safety policies as determined by Porter Corp
