Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for quality of product before final shipmentContinuous improvement in support of department and company goalsSupports, participates and encourages team buildingProvides feedback, both positive and negative, to the team, other related departments, and the supervisorPromotes a positive work environmentTo follow all of Porter Corp's procedures and policiesWork safely and efficientlyStay customer focusedOperating a break press, Shears, Punch, and various other machines/equipmentPerform other duties as assignedEducation and/or Experience
This position requires a knowledge of basic sheet metal working methods to ensure a quality product is delivered to all customersWork requires a high school diploma or equivalentTravel
This position requires minimal to no travel
Computer Skills
- Basic Computer skills
- Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems
Other Requirements
Knowledge of Press Breaks, Shears and assorted hand tools (preferred)Blueprint readingVery good interpersonal skillsMust be open-minded to new ideas and conceptsPossesses very good problem-solving skillsMust be self-motivated and results orientedOther Skills
