Work Schedule:
6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday-Friday
- Provide day-to-day leadership to Flat Laser, Tube Laser, and Deburr operators
- Operate Flat and Tube Laser equipment as needed, including setups and changeovers
- Direct daily work assignments and balance workload across available equipment
- Ensure parts meet drawing, quality, and customer specifications
- Train, mentor, and cross-train operators across laser processes
- Coordinate with Production Control, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to keep jobs flowing
- Monitor machine utilization, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment using 5S principles
- Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce scrap, waste, and setup time
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of laser manufacturing experience
- Experience operating both Flat and Tube Laser equipment
- Strong blueprint and GD&T reading skills
- Previous leadership or lead experience preferred
- Experience with nesting software and ERP/MRP systems (JobBOSS preferred) a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills
