The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing presses according to production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform setup and changeover procedures for various press machines, including tooling adjustments and material loading.
• Conduct in-process quality checks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and make necessary adjustments to maintain product specifications.
• Load and unload materials, components, and finished products from machinery, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Complete production documentation accurately, including run times, quantities, and any noted discrepancies.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience operating manufacturing presses (e.g., punch, brake, forming).
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude for setup, adjustment, and minor maintenance of machinery.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating overhead cranes or forklifts
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and measuring devices (calipers, micrometers)
• Prior experience in a quality control or inspection role
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
