Job Title

Hours:

7am to 3:30 pm as min. 5am to 5:30 pm is Max Must bring own Basic Industrial Hand Tools

Responsibilities:

• Assembly of equipment per mechanical drawings
• Ensure that changes and problems get documented and communicated
• Carry out assigned tasks with minimum direct supervision
• Execute ISO Quality standards
• Communicate with the Machine Build Lead on open issues and progress during the build process
• Successful execution of assigned programs as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area
• Assist with preparing material for secondary processes (material finishing, heat treat, and deburring)
• Effectively and safely operate:
  Mill, Lathe, Drill, Press, Surface, Grinder, Saws, Shears, Presses

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical education preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical part and assembly drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on quality and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work on/under machinery
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must provide own basic industrial hand tools and toolbox
• Ability to obtain Forklift (Hi-Lo), Aerial Platform, Overhead Crane certifications, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training after hire
• Experience operating machine shop equipment (mill, lathe, drill press, grinder, saws, shears, presses)
• Willingness to travel up to 5% (domestic and international, if required)

Education requirements:

High school diploma, or equivalent certification. Related vocational education preferred.
