Our client is seeking a Controls Technician to be provide technical support to set-up personnel, manufacturing, and engineering in all phases of manufacturing. As a Controls Technician, you must possess the ability to develop a complete program for either a PLC or Robotic system, along with the ability to troubleshoot. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
There are openings for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Pay Rate:
Pay will be up to $40/hour (dependent on experience)
- Participates in continuous improvement activities to improve OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) metrics through downtime reduction, cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and improved efficiency.
- Troubleshoots, identifies, implements, and maintains controls systems throughout the plant.
- Develops work standards for current tools, machines, and equipment and maintains accurate records.
- B.S. Degree in area of Manufacturing/Electrical Engineering Technology or a minimum of 3 years’ experience troubleshooting PLCs, Vision Systems, Robotics, and/or Servo Systems.
- Experience with the following manufacturers is preferred:
Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Cognex, Keyence. - Ability to resolve unique work issues requiring significant creative and original thinking to define/determine project and information requirements, research and coordinate information, compile data, draw conclusions, and present it to influence opinions, decisions, and actions.
