Train on First Shift (Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm) then transition to Second Shift (Monday through Thursday, 3:00pm to 1:30am).
Job Description Summary / ObjectiveThe CNC machinist operates computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. The CNC machinist performs set up tasks, loads parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.

Education and Experience
- Mazak milling and turning centers using Fusion.
- Matrix or Matrix II controls (Mazatrol and G-Code programming).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud and hearing protection is required.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee will need to lift up to 50 lbs.
