Essential Functions:
- Operate the flat laser.
- Load sheets in the computer from the scheduler.
- Verifies for proper dimensions and operation of the laser cutter, and monitors for correct cut condition.
- Move torch head to proper place for correct cutting.
- Load and unload metal sheets as needed.
- Grind parts as needed.
- Performs inspection of parts; evaluates work to determine if it is high quality/acceptable.
- Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- Communicates to co-workers and other team members in an effective way.
Job Requirements
-Able to read a blue print
- Experience with measuring tools
-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
