Manufacturing Associate

• Collaborates across departments to ensure welded steel members are staged correctly for processing.
• Utilizes overhead cranes to move parts.
• Occasionally uses forklift to transfer parts.
• Continuous improvement in support of department and company goals
• Supports, participates and encourages team building
• Provides feedback, both positive and negative, to the team, other related departments and the supervisor
• Promotes a positive work environment
• Follow all of Porter Corp’s procedures and policies
• Work safely and efficiently
• Perform other duties as assigned

• This position requires a knowledge of basic material handling methods to ensure a quality product is delivered to all customers
• Work requires high school diploma or equivalent

This position requires minimal to no travel

• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems

• Able to read blue prints
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must be open-minded to new ideas and concepts
• Possesses very good problem-solving skills
• Must be self-motivated and results oriented

• Safe and efficient material handling to minimize damage
• Accuracy and completeness of deliverable materials to customers
