Tommy's is looking for a Press Brake Technician to operate a CNC press brake to fabricate stainless steel components.

• Operate CNC press brake machine to produce formed components from stainless steel blanks
• Preform programming and tool selection to produce formed parts per print
• Read and interpret part prints
• Perform routine maintenance of machine
• Troubleshoot problems and make minor machine adjustments as necessary to correct
• Organizes and maintains work area to 5S standards
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
• Work with other team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Assists in other areas within the fabrication team as needed

• Experience with Amada or Cincinnati Press Brakes operation
• Experience welding is a plus but not required
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
• High willingness to learn
• Ability to operate forklift, Aerial platform and overhead crane
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Process-oriented and strong collaborator with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and across various departments
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload

This job operates in a warehouse environment. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets along with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse / assembly tools and functions. In addition to laser cutting and forming equipment, this role routinely uses standard fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, grinders, and welders.

This role operates primarily indoors with limited to no travel expectations.

To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to:

• Ability to work and commute in all weather conditions
• Able to effectively communicate, listen, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information
• Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers
• Frequently stand and work in a fast-paced environment where they will often be multitasking
• Work with heavy and technical equipment, lift 50 - 70 lbs,
• Tolerate vibrating tools and louder than normal work environment at times
• Frequently stand and walk for the majority of each shift
