Production Team Member

Tommy’s is looking for a Production Team Member to join our manufacturing team in the assembly of high-quality car wash equipment. This role is responsible for assembling components and subassemblies using stainless steel parts, plumbing components, and related hardware in a clean, organized shop environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, accuracy, and consistency.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and production schedule .
• Fit, fasten , align , and plumb components using hand and power tools
• Identify and select correct parts, hardware, and materials for each assembly
• Inspect finished assembl ies against drawings and quality checklist
• Package completed assembl ie s per Tommy standard (crating, wrapping, banding, boxing,)
• Report any discrepancies, defects, or material shortages to supervisor s
• Maintain required quality standard and build efficiency
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and standard work instructions
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly workstation and production area
• Other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.

Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes :

• Prior experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, plumbing, or stainless-steel fabrication
• Experience with multi-step assemblies or quality inspections
• Motivated and possesses a high degree of attention to detail and quality
• Experience using hand / power tools, and shop equipment
• Ability with dexterity to work with varied part weights and sizes
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read basic blueprint s and assembly instructions
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This job operates in a warehouse environment. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 6 :00am - 5:00pm. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets along with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse / assembly tools and functions. This role operates primarily indoors with limited to no travel expectation .

To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to:

• W ork and commute in all weather conditions
• Able to effectively communicate, listen, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information
• Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers
• Work in a fast-paced environment where they will often be multitasking
• O perate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as keyboard, copy machine and printer
• Frequently stand and move about inside fast-paced warehouse environment
• Work with heavy and technical equipment, lift 50lbs, go up heights on ladder
• Tolerate vibrating tools and louder than normal work environment at times
• Frequently stand and walk for the majority of each shift
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50
  -70 pounds
