**** Role Summary
** The Pre-Production Launch Coordinator at Magna Engineered Glass supports the Launch Program Manager in facilitating the pre-production deliverables as defined in the Product Delivery Process (PDP), starting in Phase 2 through Phase's 5/6. Key facilitator in the hand-off process to the Production Team for Customer production ramp and SOP.
** Job Purpose**:

Manages the core inputs and outputs of the Pre-Production process focused on component management, build event coordination, production process and system interface, development and event scheduling.

** Job Qualifications**:
** Education (must):
** 2-year College Associate Degree or Technical School Certificate
** Years of Experience (must):
** 1 - 3 Years
** Microsoft Tools (must):
** Proven Skills in EXCEL, Power Point, Word, etc.
** Travel (as required):
** Minimal - usually local Equipment Integrators
** Work Environment (must):
** Be willing and physically capable of working in the manufacturing environment,  on the floor' for extended periods as necessary, supporting the Pre and Postproduction Build and Launch Activities. Must also be willing to do the same at the Customers location if requested. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
** Verbal and Written Communication (must):
** Developing / Experienced ability to participate / lead cross department functional discussions on key events and core job deliverables.

*** Supports and understands the (eBOM and mBOM) Bill of Material Release (Product Engineer (PE) - release responsibility) and tracking for Pre-Production Customer and internal Testing / Trial events.
* Supports the Supplier Purchasing Department (Supplier Commodity Buyers - have ultimate responsibility) and facilitates the Component Ordering of requirements for pre-production build events.
