Press Brake Programmer/Operator | $28/hr | 3rd Shift
A fast-paced custom fabrication shop is looking for an experienced Press Brake Programmer/Operator to join their 3rd shift team! This is a great opportunity for candidates who are looking to grow their skillset.
Key Responsibilities- Set up machines efficiently to minimize downtime and changeover time
- Determine proper bend sequence, tooling selection, and tonnage requirements
- Operate press brake to form parts to print specifications
- Adjust programs and setups as needed to maintain quality
- Read and Interpret blueprints including: bend callouts, tolerances, GD&T basics
- Assist less experienced operators when needed
- Suggest improvements to bend sequences, tooling, and setups
- 3-7 years press brake experience in a fabrication environment
- Experience programming CNC press brakes
- Familiar with a variety of materials (steel, stainless, aluminum)
- Solid understanding of bend allowance/deduction, grain direction and spring back
- 3rd shift: 8:00pm-6:30am Monday-Friday (four day work week)
- Clean facility
