PurposeThe Elementary Coordinator will provide opportunities for K - 4th graders to be engaged in spiritual learning and growth during the weekly Sunday service. Plan and implement large/small group experiences based around our curriculum/scripture. Replicate the family ministry mission/vision and support parents as the primary spiritual influence in their homes.
HoursPart-time, 24 hours, including weekends and some evenings.
Primary Responsibilities Leading- Prioritize and strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ, allowing Him to move in you, then through you.
- Oversee all Elementary classrooms on the weekend, as well as functionally and decoratively.
- Recruit, train and empower Elementary volunteers for each service.
- Recruit, train, and support youth volunteers for each service in Elementary.
- Build and invest in programming and event volunteer teams.
- Assist the Children's Ministry Admin with updating and maintaining communication specific to parents and faith community (web, Facebook, take homes, etc.)
- Participate in the execution of events and weekly programming within Children's Ministry, as well as full church events/services.
- Facilitate family events and connection points throughout the year with the Children's Ministry team.
- Intentionally connect with and invest in the parents of kids who attend Children's Ministry.

Qualifications- Preferred two years' experience in church ministry
- Preferred two years of proven ability to develop, lead, and motivate volunteer teams
- Willing to call Ridge Point Community Church your home church and attend regularly within 6 months of employment
