Resident Assistant – Assisted Living
Part Time | Evening Shift

As a Resident Assistant
, you will support residents with daily living activities while helping create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. Working under the direction of the Charge Nurse, you'll provide hands‑on care and emotional support while promoting each resident's independence and dignity.
- Providing high-quality personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Supporting residents during meals, social activities, and recreational programs
- Following individualized care plans and encouraging resident choice and independence
- Completing documentation, charting, and required resident care records accurately
- Observing and reporting changes in resident condition or safety concerns
- Reporting incidents, hazards, or allegations of abuse/neglect according to policy
- Assisting with maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Following all state regulations, safety guidelines, and Genacross policies and procedures
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must have, or be willing to complete, required Resident Assistant and First Aid training
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software systems
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
