Associate Quality Engineer - ICON Shelters
Responsible to assist contractors and reps with technical service on projects, addressing customer complaints and assisting the Quality Manager with additional quality activities.

Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 2 years of relevant experience (could include CAD, Solidworks, Graphic Design, installation of steel structures, etc.).
Travel:
This position requires moderate travel
Computer
Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have competency with Microsoft Office applications and design software/CAD.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Strong mathematical background and good with measurement tools.
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write correspondences to internal employees as well as external parties that could include reps, contractors, and/or the end customer.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to reps, contractors, and/or the end customer as well as to other employees of the organization.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
