Overview
Laboratory Technician ponsible for various laboratory testing, following safety and quality guidelines, and producing satisfactory production levels.
Responsibilities- Perform laboratory tests as outlined by the SOPs.
- Perform all scheduled calibrations, standardization and SPC tests.
- Routine maintenance of testing instrumentation.
- Properly complete all paperwork used to track tests and their validity.
- Load data for tests performed.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Accurately record personal production and meet production requirements.
- Route samples for additional testing as outlined by SOPs.
- Store and dispose of samples properly.
- Comply with local and corporate quality assurance policies, as well as ISO 17025 lab accreditation requirements.
- High School diploma or laboratory experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of good laboratory practice.
- Comfortable in high‑paced production environment.
- The ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours while working.
- Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with co‑workers and managers.
- Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate equipment and handle glassware.
- Must have average vision and be able to read reports and operate equipment.
- Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
