Quality Technician

Our client, a precision manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting Production, Engineering, and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Holland, MI

Pay Range: $21 - $28/hr

What's the Job?
  • Perform product inspections, layouts, first-piece verifications, and in-process quality checks to collect accurate measurement data.
  • Support new product launches through APQP activities, PPAP documentation, and measurement system analysis activities.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and manage metrology equipment and measurement devices to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Conduct product and process audits to verify adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Maintain quality records, production data, and calibration documentation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What's Needed?
  • High school diploma required; additional education or experience in manufacturing, quality, metrology, or engineering preferred.
  • Experience with blueprint reading, GD&T, precision measurement equipment, and quality inspection practices.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, SPC, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and 5-Why.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
