• Perform daily kitchen pre-operational testing
• Perform machine and equipment inspection in conjunction with the Maintenance department
• Coordinates communication and activities between the QS department, Maintenance and Sanitation departments
• GMP monitoring
• Controls and enforces pre-operational procedures
• Perform pump inspections in conjunction with the Maintenance department
• Perform weekly facilities audits (Glass Audit, CIP Water Samples, Sort Belt/Magnet Checks, etc.)
• Perform QC Thermometer calibrations on a daily basis
• Monitor and verify correct packaging area parameters are met (i.e. code dates, packaging, labels, etc.)
• All duties include detailed and accurate information tracking and documentation per standardized procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience; or experience as a Quality Control/ Assurance position in the food industry.

• Ability to read and write English.
• Strong Communication skills; ability to understand and verbally express ideas and instructions effectively.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others.
• Ability to prioritize, follow instructions and follow-through to achieve results.
• High level of personal initiative, self-driven, action and results oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, generates enthusiasm, builds effective working relationships at all levels.
