  • The kitchen supervisor participates in the preparation of food while maintaining the organization and sanitation of the kitchen. This position also leads the Back of House team members providing leadership and knowledge while actively engaging in a positive manner. Ultimately, this position ensures that all plates are properly cooked, served, and our guests have a pleasant dining experience.

What you would do:

  • Lead and act in a manner that is consistent with our Mission, Vision, & Values
  • Train, build, and lead a high performing team
  • Ensure that all stations remain stocked before and during service
  • Verify that Back of House team members follow all recipes and portions correctly
  • Oversee team member responsibilities when opening/closing the kitchen according to our standards
  • Keep kitchen, dish, and storage areas clean and organized
  • Place food and supply orders as directed
  • Receive product, verify invoice and freshness
  • Set excellent customer service and work examples
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

What you offer us:

  • Familiarity with safe handling techniques prescribed by county health departments

  • Serv Safe Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain within first 90 days of employment

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Ability to stand for up to ten (10) hours at a time

Desired qualifications:

  • 3-5 years' experience in food service
  • Prior exposure to a vast array of cooking techniques and methods

Summary of a typical day:

  • Oversee Back of House team members in their day-to-day functions
  • Ensure Back of House team members follow all policies and procedures
  • Delegate and complete projects
