Freight Brokerage Account Manager, Bilingual; Korean​/English

Position Overview

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, fostering strong relationships and trust.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services and revenue within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments, accurate documentation, and timely updates.
• Track and trace account performance, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to improve service and strengthen client relationships.
• Provide regular updates to clients on shipment status, performance metrics, and any relevant insights.
• Act promptly to address operational issues, shipment delays, or service disruptions, ensuring customer expectations are met.
• Keep clients informed about new services, industry trends, and company updates to maximize engagement and loyalty.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of account activity, communications, and opportunities in the company’s CRM system.
• Follow established communication protocols and maintain professional interactions.
• Travel up to 10% of the time to CJ Logistics America locations or customer sites.
• Manage account profitability by balancing client cost expectations with company margin goals and participate in regular on‑call, after‑hours or weekend rotations to ensure seamless client coverage during transitions.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned or required.

• 2+ years of experience in account management, logistics, or a related customer‑facing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in Korean and English (written and verbal) is required.
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to building long‑term relationships and client‑focused service.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in the freight brokerage or logistics industry is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with freight operations and transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus.

• Sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk while working on a computer.
• Use hands and fingers to operate a keyboard, mouse, and telephone.
• Speak and hear clearly in person, virtually, and over the phone.
• Occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, or lift up to 10 pounds.

• Salary:
  Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. We anticipate this role to pay a minimum of $24.04 an hour; actual base pay will depend on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
