Where is the workPrimary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined market with a diverse commercial base including Healthcare, Process Manufacturing Facilities, Education Institutions, and Office Complexes.
What you will do- Coordinated with the team leader/project manager and customer to understand on‑site installation and repair requirements, forecast issues and synchronize work.
- Acted as the direct customer contact, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems on site.
- Used cutting‑edge software and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
- Maintained flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required, including occasional overnight stays.
- Enforced safety standards, secured company assets, and recorded usage and condition.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; typically 5+ years of HVAC experience. Technical school or formal training preferred.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
- Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with a clean driving record.
- EPA Certification.
- Must be able to safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seat belt.
- Must wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness, and safety boots when required.
- Must be able to twist the trunk of the body 90 degrees in each direction, squat, touch the floor with both hands, reach over the head, and stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods.
- Requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders; lifting and moving up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 40 lbs. regularly, occasionally moving more than 40 lbs.
- Must safely use a ladder with a 375 lb. total weight limit while carrying equipment of 50 lbs. or less.
- Must maneuver through confined access areas as small as 30” vertical by 45” horizontal.
- Must access rooftops with extension and/or fixed ladders at heights of 15–20 feet, occasionally up to 50 feet.
- May be exposed to variable weather, moving mechanical parts, heights, risk of electrical shock, and noisy operating equipment.
$23.80 - $43.85 per hour
