Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Social Worker. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to students and families. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing students' needs, developing treatment plans, and connecting them with appropriate resources. You will work collaboratively with other professionals to promote the well-being and empowerment of students in our community.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide counseling and support to students, helping them navigate personal and social issues.
- Advocate for students rights and access to necessary services and resources.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and community organizations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Facilitate support groups and workshops to enhance students' skills and resilience.
- Stay informed about community resources and services to effectively assist students.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Current state licensure or certification as a social worker.
- Proven experience in social work.
- Strong understanding of social service systems and community resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and in various settings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Proficient in using technology and software for documentation and communication.
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.
