Middle School Athletic Director, 50% time. The middle school athletic director will lead all annual or seasonal activities involving the middle school programs and sport activities specifically for 6th‑8th grade Holland Christian students. The two Holland Christian athletic directors, along with the Zeeland Christian athletic director, will work collaboratively on large‑scale decisions involving 6th‑12th grade athletics and maintain positive vertical alignment for our sports programs with varsity coaches.

The MS athletic director needs to be visionary to anticipate opportunities and challenges and work to make the best environment possible for MS student‑athletes. Embracing athletics as educational and Christ‑centered, empowering programs with resources, establishing positive relationships within the conference and employing growing coaches are all key pieces to the position. This position is 50%, however, could possibly be combined with some teaching.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree (required);
  Master’s degree or higher (preferred)

• MS Coach Hiring, Onboarding, Leadership & Review
• MS Athlete Behavioral & Academic Eligibility & Communication through Issues
• MS Officials Assignments, Communication and Payment (Arbiter)
• MS Team Uniforms, Warmup Shirts & Equipment Distribution, Collecting & Storage
• MS Team Picture Display, Championship Plaques & Record Board Updating
• MS Practice Scheduling, Eventlink Inputting and Event Contracts/Payment (almost all scheduling completed by WMMSC)
• MS Athletics Budget and Team Uniform Purchasing
• MS CHAMPS Concessions Inventory and Management
• MS Site Management, Staffing, Communication & Seasonal Payments
• MS Athletic Training & First Aid Equipment Inventory
• MS Football Site Manager, MS Cross Country Site Manager & MS Track & Field Site Manager
• MS Event Oversight (Coaching & Event Staffing outside of Football, Cross Country & Track Compensated through Game Stipends)
