Holliston High School is seeking an organized and personable School Counseling Secretary to support the counseling department. This central role serves as the main point of contact for students, faculty, and the community, ensuring smooth daily operations through scheduling, communication, and data management.
Responsibilities- Maintain school counselors’ schedules by booking student appointments and meetings.
- Answer phone calls and serve as a helpful point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors.
- Organize and manage AP test administration.
- Coordinate department milestones including awards nights and college fairs.
- Maintain student enrollment data and the school honor roll.
- Coordinate scholarship opportunities and community involvement programs.
- Act as the primary liaison to the online collaborative program.
- Manage department mailings and maintain student records and data.
- Perform other administrative and supportive responsibilities as they arise.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Strong technical skills.
- Spreadsheet and database experience preferred.
- Ability to work and communicate positively with students, parents, and staff.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $23.86 to $32.64 per year
