Job DescriptionPerformance Contracting is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing employee‑owned organization as an entry‑level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI New England 586 operations based in Holliston, MA
.
The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launchpad for future leaders 's a dynamic position offering hands‑on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.
Job Responsibilities- Conducting safety meetings
- Creating and managing punch lists
- Supporting the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI’s QA/QC program
- Preparing RFI’s and submittals
- Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
- Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
- Supporting the implementation of the job schedule
- Coordinating warranties and O&M’s
- Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing
Salary range: $84,600 annual salary plus a non‑guaranteed annualized bonus program.
This position is safety‑sensitive.
Basic Requirements- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
- A clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills as they are taught
- Strong customer service skills and relationship‑building abilities
- Must have critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to multitask
- Motivated self‑starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Works well under pressure and deadlines
- OSHA certifications
- Willing to travel/relocate based on project needs
