We seek a dedicated individual who will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at a municipal solid waste transfer station. The individual must be flexible to work shifts as assigned, handle special projects assigned by a supervisor and any other related duties. The duties herein are intended to describe the general nature of the work performed by this position and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills.

• Perform general site maintenance including yard work, track maintenance, janitorial work and minor repairs.
• Maintain effective equipment checks (pre and post operations).
• Perform general equipment maintenance and repairs as instructed.
• Maintain various items at the transfer station for continual operation.
• Provide instructions to customers for proper location of disposal on the tipping floor.
• Perform inspections effectively and accurately in accordance with state‑mandated Waste Ban Regulations.
• Ensure that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform facility inspection checks as assigned by a Supervisor.
• Follow and enforce all required Reworld safety policies and procedures.

• A minimum of one (1) year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical, equipment or trade school certificate or training preferred.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment including forklifts, excavators, front‑end loaders, and sweepers is desirable.
• Must be flexible to work different shifts, including weekends.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $18.28 – $24.30.
