Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Production Planner role based in Holliston, MA. The Production Planner will create, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet customer demand, capacity constraints, and material availability. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include reviewing customer orders and forecasts, coordinating with manufacturing, purchasing, and logistics to align production plans, and monitoring work‑in‑progress to ensure on‑time delivery. The role will analyze production performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend changes to improve throughput and efficiency.

The Production Planner will also maintain accurate data in planning systems, communicate schedule changes to relevant teams, and support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and scheduling.

Qualifications
  • Strong competency in production planning and managing production schedules, with experience aligning plans to capacity and demand.
  • Proficient planning and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate across teams.
  • Well‑developed analytical skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and solving problems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with operations, purchasing, quality, and leadership teams.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably metal fabrication or similar, with understanding of shop floor processes and workflow.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP or production planning software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
  • Ability to work on‑site in Holliston, MA, with attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to continuous improvement and safety.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
