Equipment Operator

We are looking for an Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently handle outbound and inbound materials at our industrial waste processing facility.

• Receive, weigh, unpack, and label containers of inbound materials.
• Operate a variety of industrial equipment – forklift, track hoe, skid steer, vacuum truck, tanker truck, roll‑off truck, walking floor trailer, pressure washer, material handling equipment, and hand tools – to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor.
• Follow defined industrial and manufacturing good‑housekeeping practices throughout the facility.
• Perform exterior site maintenance and improvement tasks such as litter collection, painting, snow removal, and ice prevention.
• Conduct traffic control for incoming and outgoing traffic.
• Assist facility mechanic(s) with equipment repairs.
• Complete additional duties as assigned to support safe and efficient facility operations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Hold a MA 2A Hoisting License.

• Walk, stand, sit, and climb as required.
• Lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Work from heights and in confined spaces.
• Wear a full‑face respirator.
• Work in various weather conditions.
