Our client in Woodstock is looking to hire a Design Engineer! Up to $85k salary A bit about us:We are on the hunt for a Design Engineer (EIT or PE) to join our fast‑paced and innovative engineering team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects in the engineering industry. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about geotechnical design and has a solid understanding of structural analysis, soil mechanics, and retaining wall design.
The ideal candidate will have a knack for spatial reasoning and a strong command of AutoCAD, CAD, Excel, MSEW, and ReSSA.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an added advantage.
- A valid EIT or PE license.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical design, structural analysis, and retaining wall design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, Excel, MSEW, and ReSSA.
- Excellent mathematical and spatial reasoning skills.
- A solid understanding of soil mechanics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
