Here’s what that means for you- We supply you with qualified, inbound leads. Our marketing generates a consistent flow of homeowners who are actively looking for sod installation, and our staff has already booked the appointments for you. You spend your time closing, not prospecting from scratch.
- You have a dedicated Sales Manager. Weekly pipeline reviews, coaching, and someone who has your back. Not someone who micromanages. You'll be supported, not smothered.

This role gets you outside, meeting people, and solving real problems for homeowners without grinding 60-hour workweeks. Our top performers work smart, stay disciplined, and earn great money while maintaining the life outside of work that matters to them.
You'll spend your days driving the Triangle area, meeting clients at their homes, and closing deals. Not sitting in a cubicle making cold calls. If you want a sales role where your skills directly drive your income and you can see the results of your work in every yard you drive past, this is it.
Here’s exactly how the compensation works- Commission Rate: 7.5% of gross revenue on every sale you close.
- Structure: 100% commission. No base salary. Your income is driven entirely by your results.
- 90-Day Guaranteed Draw: $5,000/month minimum income during your first 90 days (non-recoverable). This is not a loan. It's a guarantee while you ramp.
- Commission Timing: 50% paid on signed agreement and deposit. 50% paid on project completion.
Our sales professionals run approximately 450 consultations per year. At our average job size of $8,300 and a 7.5% commission rate, here's what your annual earnings look like based on close rate:
- 35% close rate: 158 jobs sold, $1,311,400 revenue, $98,355 earnings
- 40% close rate: 180 jobs sold, $1,494,000 revenue, $112,050 earnings
- 45% close rate (target): 203 jobs sold, $1,684,900 revenue, $126,368 earnings
- 50% close rate: 225 jobs sold, $1,867,500 revenue, $140,063 earnings

ResponsibilitiesYou'll own the full sales cycle from consultation to signed agreement. A typical week looks like:
- Run 15 to 20 onsite consultations per week, meeting homeowners at their property, evaluating their lawn, and building a solution that fits their needs and budget.
- Deliver same-day estimates using our quoting system to provide accurate pricing before you leave the property. Speed matters. The best closers don't let quotes sit.
- Close deals onsite whenever possible. Our top performers close 45 to 55% of their consultations at the kitchen table. If the fit is right, ask for the business.
- Follow up with discipline. Clients who don't close on the spot get structured follow-up within 24 to 48 hours. You'll manage your pipeline in our CRM with detailed notes and timely touches.
- Hand off cleanly to our project management team. When you close a deal, you provide complete and accurate client information so the installation experience matches the sales experience.
- Generate your own leads alongside company-supplied ones. Networking, referrals from past clients, and strategically building relationships will contribute to building a strong, consistent pipeline that can outlast seasonality.
- First 30 Days:
Learn our products, systems, and sales process. Shadow experienced reps. Complete 3+ solo consultations with same-day estimates. - By Day 60:
Running 12 to 15 appointments per week independently. Hitting 35%+ close rate on a minimum of 12 appointments. - By Day 90:
Full pipeline ownership. 40%+ close rate sustained. Same-day estimates on every consultation. CRM is fully managed. - Ongoing:
Consistent 45%+ close rate, same-day estimates, 24-hour follow-ups. Daily…
