Position: Site Training Lead, CVRM (Holly Springs)
The Position

Welcome to Holly Springs, North Carolina- home to Roche/Genentech's largest-ever investment: a $2B greenfield start-up where next-generation technology, high-performing teams and Operational Excellence converge to create the global standard for high-volume, highly-efficient Drug Product manufacturing.

The facility's core is defined by Innovation - leveraging advanced automation, robotics, digital tools, real-time data analytics, and simple, streamlined processes to produce the highest quality medicines. This plant meets today's demand for CVRM (Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolism) medicines and is scalable to grow with the portfolio, which focuses on next-generation metabolic medicines specifically targeting the global obesity epidemic and Type 2 diabetes.

This is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high-level of accountability, with planned launch in 2028.

Are you a problem-solver and change-agent who thrives in a Team environment, eager to tackle the most complex manufacturing challenges? If so, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to launch a state-of-the-art facility from the ground-up and shape the culture of our organization for the next generation.

Join us in Holly Springs, where you won't just build a plant-you will build the future of medicine.

The Opportunity

This role is a rare opportunity to shape the learning culture of an entire site from the ground up. As the Site Lead for Compliance and Technical Training, you will define how we build capability, how we grow talent, and how we ensure every colleague at Holly Springs is equipped to operate with excellence from day one.

You will design and implement the full training roadmap for the site-creating a competency-based learning ecosystem that aligns with GMP expectations, regulatory standards, and the behaviors we want this site to be known for. This includes building our early-talent pipeline, forging partnerships with local colleges, developing technical training programs, and establishing the curriculum and training matrix for all compliance-related learning.

You will also architect the Holly Springs New Hire Orientation program, ensuring every new colleague understands not just what we do, but who we are-our purpose, our culture, and our commitment to patients.

This is more than a training role. It's a chance to influence the DNA of a new site, build the capabilities that will power our long-term success, and create a learning environment where people grow, teams thrive, and patients ultimately benefit.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the accountable owner for the Compliance and Technical Training program at Holly Springs, ensuring all training is developed, coordinated, and delivered in a fully cGMP-compliant manner.
  • Build and lead the site's Learning & Training organization, establishing consistent, scalable, and continuously improving training practices across all functions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand capability needs and recommend best-fit approaches for executing a competency-based training model that improves performance and reduces operational friction.
  • Lead the site's long-term capability strategy, including building and sustaining an early-talent pipeline aligned with future workforce needs.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with local colleges, establishing technical training pathways that support site readiness and long-term and workforce needs.
  • Design and lead the Holly Springs New Hire Orientation program, ensuring a consistent, high-quality onboarding experience that embeds culture, expectations, and mission from day one.
  • Ensure training best practices are consistently applied, driving high-quality, compliant, and effective learning experiences across the site.
  • Act as the primary interface with global network stakeholders, sharing site progress, aligning with enterprise standards, and evaluating new global training initiatives for local implementation.
  • Ensure full compliance with global training standards, processes, and documentation requirements, maintaining audit-ready systems and records.
  • Represent the Training Program during regulatory inspections, partnering with support functions to demonstrate compliance and program effectiveness.
  • Champion innovation in learning, advocating for new processes, technologies, and methodologies that enhance capability development across the site and the broader Roche / Genentech network.
  • Coach and develop Training team members, building internal expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and GMP-aligned training practices.
  • Oversee sourcing and hiring of Instructional Designers and training specialists, partnering with functional leaders to ensure high-quality, role-specific learning content.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, influencing stakeholders, aligning priorities, and reinforcing the importance of a strong learning culture.
