The Town of Holly Springs Parks & Recreation Department is hiring a part-time park maintenance assistant to join the park maintenance team. This position performs a variety of skilled tasks to maintain Town parks, athletic fields, and greenways.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
• Line athletic fields for practices and games.
• Assist with construction and repair projects such as fencing, boardwalks, and trails.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and motorized equipment.
• Support setup and cleanup for Town events and programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
• Valid North Carolina driver's license.
• At least two years of experience in park maintenance, landscaping, or related work.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Weekend shifts may be required for events or tournaments.

Position Details

• Part-time, up to 19 hours per week (1,000 hours per year).
• Typical schedule:
  
  Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.
  
  -3:30 p.m.
• Pay range: $12.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.
