Location: The Club at 12 Oaks Country Club
Position SummaryThe Banquet & Dining Room Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests in both à la carte dining and banquet settings. This position ensures all service standards, etiquette guidelines, and operational procedures of The Club at 12 Oaks Country Club are consistently upheld.
The Server plays an essential role in delivering a polished, professional, and welcoming hospitality experience from setup to service through event breakdown.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Service Responsibilities- Provide courteous, attentive, and professional service to members and guests.
- Serve food and beverages according to club standards of etiquette and timing.
- Accurately relay food and beverage orders to the appropriate team members.
- Communicate allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests clearly and promptly.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond appropriately to requests or concerns.
- Maintain composure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist with complete setup and breakdown of banquet and dining areas.
- Maintain proper table settings and ensure service areas are organized and guest-ready.
- Follow all established steps of service during events and regular dining service.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to sanitary practices at all times.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times.
- Demonstrate a friendly, outgoing personality with a patient and courteous attitude toward members, guests, and coworkers.
- Possess working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a full-service dining environment (private club experience preferred).
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to serve up to 12 guests at one time with accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for 4–8 hour shifts.
- Ability to carry a cocktail tray with up to six beverages using one hand while serving with the other.
- Ability to carry trays with up to six plated meals (approximately 30 pounds).
- Ability to lift and move dining chairs and tables weighing approximately 40 pounds.
This position operates in a high-standard private club environment requiring professionalism, hospitality excellence, and attention to detail. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required based on club operations and event schedules.
