Must Haves:

3+ years of enterprise level corporate accounting experience
- Accruals, preparing/posting JE, budget vs actual, debit credit, balance sheet, preparing financial statements

Day to Day: Outside of close this position assists in the preparation budgets, annual audited financial statements in conjunction with outside auditors and preparation of other required annual reports

Assists with monthly ad-hoc financial analysis and provides customer support as requested. Produces and manages financial reporting packages and corresponding analysis, which may include accounts like accounts receivable, revenue, cash, or other complex areas. Responds to requests for analysis and provides analytical support to the Finance management team. Discusses departmental statements with department heads and investigates any material variances. Performs monthly close of assigned entities.

Ensures all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and supported with proper documentation. Assists in the preparation of the assigned entities annual operating budget. Assists Controller in the preparation of annual audited financial statements in conjunction with outside auditors and preparation of other required annual reports.

Does the candidate have heavy monthly financial close experience? We have a fast close and are normally done with the majority of items by the end of the 5th business day of each month.

* Is the candidate proficient at working with complex Excel spreadsheets?

* Is the candidate familiar with doing monthly journal entries, mainly accruals?

* Does the candidate have experience with year-end audits and budgets?

* Is the candidate organized, proactive, and a self-starter as this position handles many areas.
